BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED AT SILIGURI COLLEGE

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 10th September, 2015: A blood donation camp was organized by the NSS unit 4 of Siliguri College here today. The makeshift camp was organized at the cycle stand of Siliguri College. Under the coordination of Dr. Vidyawati Agarwal, program officer, NSS Unit 4 – Siliguri College a total of 66 unit of blood was collected today. Main contributors were the College students themselves. Among the 66 donors, 40 were boys but the interesting part was the girls who were 26 in number. Generally, this is a large percentage of woman donors donating in a single camp organized by the voluntary organizations.
